Background
Kishan Nathwani joined Sophos Law as an attorney in 2017 with a strong passion to work with early stage companies and help them reach their goals. Prior to joining Sophos Law, Kishan found his desire to help entrepreneurs turn an idea into something real while working at a small startup technology based law firm as a corporate associate. While there, Kishan had the opportunity to get involved in the Seattle startup community and not only meet with, but work with the many entrepreneurs in Seattle. In fact, Kishan is an entrepreneur himself; prior to law school, Kishan co-founded a clothing company in his hometown, Vancouver, British Columbia.
Based on his previous experiences, Kishan’s practice focuses on providing assistance to clients who are in need of advice when dealing with business transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, business formation and governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, HR, securities, financing, and employment related matters.
When Kishan is not in the office or at home reading about the next big technology trend, he is doing something sports related. Kishan is a sports fanatic, whether it is ice hockey, football, basketball, soccer, or even curling, he will be watching. So, if you ever want to talk sports, he is your guy! His other interests include enjoying the outdoors that the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer and learning about other cultures through food with his wife.
